There are a number of organisations that provide short courses relevant to the water industry. A list of some of the providers and a brief description of the courses they offer is provided below.

Short courses offered by ICE Warm include; Australian Water Industry Essentials, Hydraulics and hydrology for non-engineers, policy and governance, river and floodplain monitoring, water in coal mines, coal seam gas and water, climate change adaptation.
The Smart Water Research Centre offers a university-accredited week long course in activated sludge and biological nutrient reduction. The Centre also offers a course in communicating water science and technology.
