Water Connections Tour

The 2024 Water Connections Tour will include visits to Mount Isa, Cloncurry, Julia Creek, Richmond, Hughenden and Winton.

The Water Connections Tour has been developed to allow participants to gain insights into the issues and challenges of providing essential urban water services to regional and remote Queensland communities. It provides an opportunity to bring together both state and federal government to gain first-hand insights of  issues identified in the Urban Water Risk Assessment and compliance for wastewater treatment assets.

Thanks to our Water Connections Tour sponsor, Lackon, for their financial contribution and providing a technical expert to accompany the tour delegation.

There are no open registrations for this event, the study tour is open to government personnel seeking to increase their knowledge of urban water systems and issues impacting the communities, infrastructure assets and workforce.
