About this event
The Water Connections Tour has been developed to allow participants to gain insights into the issues and challenges of providing essential urban water services and delivering key water projects in regional and remote Queensland communities. The tour will run from 11 to 14 May 2025.
Goals of this tour:
- Occasion to bring together Local and State government officials to gain first-hand insights into key water projects and risks across North Queensland.
- Build trust between critical stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for collaboration.
The 2026 Water Connections Tour will focus on the northern region of Queensland from Mackay to Townsville.
There are no open registrations for this event, the study tour is open to government personnel seeking to increase their knowledge of urban water systems and issues impacting the communities, infrastructure assets and workforce. Contact Georgina Davis for more information.
