Aquanex Water Management is an independent water management consultancy providing strategic, technical and implementation-focused advice to governments, utilities, councils, development partners and water sector organisations.

Aquanex helps clients connect technical water decisions with policy, governance, public health, community needs and practical delivery. Aquanex’s approach is human-centred and whole-of-system, recognising that safe and reliable water services depend not only on infrastructure, but also on people, operational capability, institutional arrangements, community trust and long-term stewardship.

Aquanex is led by Eric Vanweydeveld, a Chartered water engineer and project management professional with nearly two decades of experience in water strategy, infrastructure planning and service delivery across Australia and the Pacific.
