Summary of the lab's accreditations / QA processes	SAS is NATA accredited under ISO/IEC 17025:2005 for chemical and biological analysis of water, wastewater, environmental waters and sampling/field analysis, including aquatic biology (algae) and chlorophyll. Also accredited for sampling and analysis of airborne bacteria and fungi.
Analytical services provided - drinking water	Water supply analysis – general chemistry, metals, disinfection by-products, taste and odour compounds, water microbiology, nitrogen and phosphorus, field analysis for pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, redox potential and temperature, algae identification and counting, chlorophyll.
Analytical services provided - sewerage/ recycled water	Wastewater analysis - BOD5, COD, TOC, SS, oil and grease, volatile acids, biosolids, metals, coliforms, faecal coliforms, general chemistry
Plans to offer further services or specialisations in future	SAS maintains a watching brief on water quality issues and expands its capability in accordance with legislative, environmental and client requirements.
Summary of pricing policy	Analyses are priced per line item of in suites, depending on the analytes involved. Discounts are offered for regular customers or for quantity.
Qualifications and experience of laboratory personnel	Our Management Team has over 100 years collective experience in the water industry. Staff qualifications range from Associate Diploma to Bachelor Degree with Honours / Distinction.
