1. NPR Indicator Review: Workshop Dates
As part of the NPR indicator review currently underway the review team has scheduled a series of workshops which will target known areas of interest and contention and draw on preliminary insights from the indicator survey that is being undertaken.
The workshops will be held virtually and focus on a series of conversation-starting questions to foster robust discussions and draw out insights and issues.
The following workshops will be held across February and early March:
- Water quality and health – Tuesday 16 February, 9 am-10.30 am AEST (Qld time) – Register here Water Quality Workshop

qldwater is preparing a submission for the NPR review on behalf of its members, but if you would like to respond individually please feel free to do so (https://www.npr.harc.com.au/call-for-submissions/). If you have an issue that you would like to be raised on your behalf, time is running out to get your comments to us soon as submissions close on 19 February.
Importantly for smaller Service Providers, part of the review is looking at the possibility of including <10,000 connection Service Providers in future NPR.
qldwater has started a Zoho group for this NPR review, so if you would like to keep up with what is happening please let David (dscheltinga@qldwater.com.au) or Louise (lreeves@qldwater.com.au) know and we will add you to the Zoho group list.
2. Sustainable Water and Sewerage Services for Regional and Remote Communities Event - Registrations Closing this Friday!
In person registrations for our upcoming qldwater/NSW Water Directorate joint event is closing this Friday 5th February 2021.
No registrations for in-person attendees can be accepted after this time.
